It is our hope that you are soundly saved. Sadly though many in today’s churches are not hearing the gospel preached nor are they having the opportunity to repent and receive Christ as their personal Savior. How can a person know for sure that they are saved?
1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
Just as a hungry man knows that he is a hungry, the saved man can know that he is saved. Gods word clearly tells us that we may know that we have eternal life. Salvation is more than reciting a prayer. Salvation is repenting of your sin, not merely confessing your sin but repenting and fully trusting Christ as your Savior. Just as you'd trust a parachute to save you, put your full trust in Christ.

Do I have to go to church to be a Christian?
Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Going to church isn't what brings salvation or makes one a Christian. Salvations comes from hearing the word of God and applying it to our lives. But the person who is truly saved and is a Christian will go to church, they will want to go and love going.

Can a homosexual be a Christian?
All men and women are tempted in different ways. It is how we handle that temptation. Do we allow it to control and run our lives or do we bring our body under submission. Understand that no one is "Born that way", it is a conscious choice to indulge the temptation. Gods word is firm on the fact that homosexuality is an abomination before God. No practicing homosexual can be a Christian. Salvation requires repentance, the homosexual must repent from that sin and live for the Lord.

Is it okay for Christians to drink alcohol?
1 Thes. 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.
We as Christians have to realize that God expects us to hold a higher standard than the world. Though one person may be able to drink one drink and have no problem. But if a newly saved or weaker brother sees them drink, it may cause them to stumble. Our witnessed is ruined and Christ is shamed when we indulge in that which appears evil.
